reliable and friendly Casual Administrator / Ward Clerk to join our Older
Persons Health team.
This important role provides essential clerical and
reception support, helping our service run smoothly and ensuring our patients
and their whanau feel welcome and well supported
As part of the Administration and Clerical Pay Equity Claim

Key Responsibilities :
high-quality clerical support to the interdisciplinary ward team
accurate and up-to-date patient files and documentation
incoming and outgoing communication efficiently
appointments as requested
professional and friendly reception services at ward level
to requests for information within agreed timeframes
all admissions, discharges, and death documentation to required standards
patient and staffing data into hospital systems
with IT Help Desk when necessary for technical issues
toward quality and safety programmes
other duties as requested by the Charge Nurse ManagerAbout you
Essential :in word processing, reception and / or office administration
written and verbal communication skills
knowledge of Windows-based systems
to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment
reliable, and team-focused
approachable, and customer service oriented
at a satisfactory School Certificate levelDesirable Skills and Experience :
experience in a health service or hospital setting
of SI PICS or similar patient administration systems
in transcription work Working at Health New Zealand
