Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington is currently recruiting a Development Coordinator to join the Te Kura Tangata - Development and Alumni Relations team on a 14-month, fixed-term, full-time contract.
In this role, you'll help grow philanthropic support for the university and be responsible for coordinating meaningful events and projects that connect, engage, and celebrate our community of supporters and stakeholders.
Key responsibilities :
Undertake fundraising and engagement activity to grow philanthropic support.
Provide project coordination and administrative support for major and strategic fundraising projects.
Deliver events that engage potential supporters, alumni, and stakeholders.

With experience in fundraising, events, or stakeholder engagement, we are seeking someone with strong relationship-building skills.
You'll be comfortable managing multiple priorities, collaborating across teams, and finding creative ways to support the University's philanthropic goals.
A positive attitude, initiative, and a genuine interest in connecting people to meaningful causes will help you thrive in this role.
Key requirements :
Strong project coordination, event and time management skills.
Excellent communication and relationship building capabilities.
Experience working in a fundraising or a customer-facing role such as sales.
