Permanent, Full-time opportunity based in Wellington
The Business Systems Coordinator assists the Procurement Systems Digital Transformation team in the coordination, maintenance and enhancement of the IT systems made available by the New Zealand Government Procurement (NZGP) branch.
You will work with MBIE, government agencies and suppliers to ensure systems are fit for purpose and meet stakeholders' needs.
The successful candidate will understand the benefits that IT systems and analysis can bring to an organisation and the importance of keeping systems performing well and ensuring data integrity.
You will support training on IT systems, and support the team in delivering the branch systems strategy by ensuring the integrity and quality of data within the various IT systems used.
The Business Systems Coordinator provides assistance on key process and systems improvement initiatives.
The Business Systems Coordinator maintains and develops effective working and adds value by providing advice which ensures that the IT systems and tools the Procurement Systems Digital Transformation team supports are appropriate and meet all stakeholder needs.
The Business Systems Coordinator is responsible to ensure requests for assistance are handled in a timely manner with professionalism.

Ideally previous experience as a PA, coordinator or IT administration.
Committed to customer service with strong client focus.
An understanding (or interest in learning) about IT systems.
Experience in liaising with stakeholders, suppliers, managers.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ideally an understanding of how government works.
Effective time management and organisational skills; able to plan and prioritise work to meet competing deadlines with willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
An ability to analyse different situations and to recommend solution.
The legal right to live and work in New Zealand.
