About The Role

Vidacorp is seeking a Demand Planner to manage the inventory for the ANZ Demand Planning network to ensure the right stock levels are maintained. This position will be responsible for ensuring that sales forecasting is optimised, and a stock policy is established and maintained in order to maximise business revenue and profitability.

Role & Responsibilities

• Support and drive the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, collaborating with sales and finance teams.
• Maintain and update the 18-month forecast for ANZ business, incorporating statistical forecasts and scheduled demand.
• Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, and gather, analyse, and validate data to develop statistical forecasting models.
• Monitor demand versus forecast regularly to proactively identify issues and incorporate market intelligence into the demand plan.
• Communicate stock constraints and demand prioritisation to relevant stakeholders in collaboration with Supply & Inventory teams.
• Own New Product Development (NPD) forecasts and ensure new launch factors are incorporated into the demand plan.
• Lead improvements to demand planning and sales processes, including the implementation of system tools to enhance demand planning.
• Facilitate regional demand‑related meetings and communicate gaps between operational supply chain plans and financial / commercial plans with key stakeholders.
