Overview

TVNZ is preparing to approach the market for the supply of Broadcast Headend Infrastructure. The infrastructure will primarily be deployed to deliver feeds for Digital Terrestrial Television (DTT) and Direct to Home (DTH). It must also be able to support live streaming. Components of our Broadcast Headend Infrastructure are end-of-life and require replacement. TVNZ wishes to evaluate solutions that can be deployed on-premises, cloud or hybrid.

Opportunity Overview : TVNZ is seeking companies with proven experience in delivering live Broadcast Headend Infrastructure solutions that cater to national and international scale audiences. The solution must be capable of delivering multiple concurrent channels and must include multiple levels of resilience to ensure reliable delivery.

TVNZ expects to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) by mid - August 2025 (Indicative)
