Overview
The secondary (Years 7–15) / wharekura role focuses on dance with the ability to teach junior drama.
The arts department invites an energetic teacher to join a small and successful performing arts team in a well-resourced environment.
Responsibilities
Teach dance with a focus on junior drama.
Contribute to the school's performing arts program and co-curricular activities.
Demonstrate skills in choreography and deliver NCEA up to Level 2 (as applicable).
Collaborate within a supportive performing arts department and maintain excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
Be open to teaching additional subjects, as there is a possibility this role may become full-time.
Qualifications
Certificated teacher, Secondary (Years 7–15) / wharekura.
Experience with NCEA up to Level 2 and confident dance teaching ability.
Strong choreography skills and excellent interpersonal and organisational abilities.
