About the Role
Salary : Steps 1 -10 (APEX Psychology SECA)
We are excited to offer this opportunity for a registered Clinical Psychologist (Kaimatai Hinengaro) to join our Older Persons and Rehabilitation Community Services across our district.
This is a newly established role following a successful pilot and business case to embed Clinical Psychology within our Community Teams to work in a holistic multi-disciplinary way to meet our patient - s needs.
This role could potentially suit 2 Clinical Psychologists working part time together.
In this role you will be working alongside the Community Clinicians (Allied Health, Nursing and Medical) to support a patient - s treatment and intervention.
Your intervention may range from case consultations to support clinician - s interventions for patients with psychological need, through to providing psychological intervention when indicated.
As this is a new role, we are open to candidate preference where the Psychologists may be physically based across the community services.
