Location
This role is based in our Wellington office.
We're on the lookout for experienced Psychologists looking for full, part time or subcontractor work.
We do require at least 2 days work per week.

What you'll be doing
No two days are ever the same!
You'll be exposed to diverse cultures and clinical opportunities, working with a range of clients and mental health conditions.
You will be supported by a dedicated team leader, as well as the clinical lead for psychology and the clinical advisory team in developing and honing your skills in the services APM provides.
APM employs general, counselling, clinical and neuropsychologists, and APM psychologists :
manage a clinical case load equivalent to 6.5 hours of client contact time a day
work across a variety of contracts including ACC contracts such as Sensitive Claims, Psychological Services, Training for Independence and Pain Management Services, as well as other services such as Police and private referrals.
Provide evidence-based talking therapy
Deliver high quality clinical assessments and reports
Engage in collaborative, multi-disciplinary treatment of clients.
Clinical psychologists and neuropsychologist can deliver or develop into delivering neuropsychological assessment services.

Qualifications & Experience
Hold an NZPB accredited Master\'s degree or higher in Psychology.
Ability to provide high quality, evidence based talking therapies, for example CBT, EMDR, DBT, Schema therapy, ACT, etc.
Complete and deliver high quality clinical assessments and reports
Have excellent communication skills and a team-orientated approach to delivering intervention
Have excellent time-management skills and the ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively
For positions involving neuropsychological assessment, vocational registration as a clinical or neuropsychologist is required.
Clinical psychologist will need to demonstrate completion of graduate level coursework in Neuropsychology.
Must have training in psychopathology and in diagnostic frameworks such as DSM-5-TR or ICD 10 / 11.
Professional Credentials
Must be registered with the Psychologists Board of New Zealand before starting
Possess a valid Annual Practising Certificate (APC)
Registration with the New Zealand Psychological Society or The New Zealand College for Clinical Psychologists

Current full NZ driver license
NZ / AU Citizen or valid NZ work visa
