The Nelson team have a fantastic opportunity for a Property Consultant to provide support to property consulting services with a focus on settlements and general property services.

You'll be supporting an established team of consultants with property searching, investigating property issues, communication with stakeholders, preparing contracts for acquisition, arranging settlements, and preparing documents for legalisation actions.

This role requires good knowledge of relevant codes and legislation, specifically the Public Works Act 1981 and would best suit someone with a legal and / or conveyancing background.

You'll have the option to work part time or full time hours and be based in any of our Top of the South offices. The region has a fantastic lifestyle and a vibrant community, loved by individuals, families, and senior professionals alike. The short commuting times compared to living in a busy city provides a good work-life balance.

About you :

• Registered Legal / Conveyancing or related qualification
• Preferably minimum of 3 years’ professional experience in a broad range of conveyancing
• Knowledge of relevant legislation, codes, standards and practices including the Public Works Act 1981
• General understanding of land law and contract law
• Current clean drivers license
