About the Role

As the Quality Standards and Reporting Manager, you will oversee the Support Team within the Audit and Assurance (A&A) Directorate. You will be responsible for maintaining and meeting A&A's internal and external reporting, facilitating continuous improvement, and ensuring compliance with standards and monitor quality.

About you

You will be a Chartered Accountant with over 12 years' internal auditing experience, including leadership roles in large public organisations, skilled in audit quality assurance, financial reporting, governance reporting, performance monitoring, and data analytics.

Your strong communication, problem solving, and stakeholder engagement skills alongside an advanced MS Office proficiency, and a deep understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and Māori tikanga, supported by experience in applying international audit standards and producing high-level reports will be essential for this role.
