• About the Role
• Theoncology service provides holistic specialist nurse assessment, care andeducation to patients and whanau diagnosed with cancer.Asa Health Care Assistant you will be part of our dedicated nursing environmentwith full support.

Your role is to work within the team to assist nursing staffin care delivery, one-to-one patient watches and other tasks as directed.Everyday is different and our nursing team enjoys the variety of work, the peoplethey interact with, and the challenge of giving each patient the best customerexperience, whilst ensuring that everything runs to schedule.Weare looking for an enthusiastic and friendly person to join our team working 40hours a fortnight (0.5FTE) on a permanent basis.Yourhours of work will be :

Patients are seen in their ownhomes, the Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy outpatient clinics and in the hospitalwards.NelsonMarlborough Health is the main health provider for the Te Tau Ihu, the top ofthe south.
