Registered Nurse, Research IntensiveCare Services Nelson Hospital
This role requires a minimum of 5 yearsrecent acute nursing experience, or significant ICU / CCU experience
Permanent 0.3FTE working 24 hours a fortnight between the hours of 0700 and 1730 Monday to Friday
It is an organisational requirement to work a minimum of 0.7 FTE.
If you are applying externally you will need to work 0.4FTE in another role additionally

Overview
The Nelson ICCU is a nine bed unit that caters to ICU, Coronary Care and High Dependency patients.
The successful candidate will undertake the research role in this unit with potential to also provide care for all these patients.
Each day brings something new with opportunities to learn and grow.

Responsibilities
The role will involve data collection for Intensive Care (ANZICS) as well as coordinating clinical trials within the specialty.
About You
We are looking for an experienced nurse who has a passion for critical care and evidence-based practice, as well as a keen interest in clinical research.
You will also have the flexibility to accommodate the needs of patients undergoing clinical trials.
