What you'll be doing
Lead and support a cross-functional team of Software Engineers, Testers, and Business Analysts
Lead the development of robust, high-quality, and scalable .
Net applications, prioritizing automation, and streamlining processes to enhance efficiency and reduce manual efforts
Work with the team to maintain high code standards and share responsibility for product quality
Diagnose and resolve issues, communicating their impact to stakeholders and helping to prioritize solutions
Work with relevant stakeholders to encourage healthy team collaboration, and communication processes such as code reviews, test shares, and design discussions etc..
Prioritize automation and streamline processes to enhance efficiency and reduce manual efforts
Maintain best practice code quality, design and architecture
Dedicate time to people management activities including employee support, team-building, and cross-team communication
Work constructively to assist team members, support learning and growth, and lead by good example
About you
A seasoned backend Software Engineer, ideally with previous team leadership responsibilities
Advanced experience in .
Net and relational databases, with a well-developed understanding of modern software delivery practices and life cycle
Experience deploying applications in Kubernetes and a strong grasp of observability and distributed logging in cloud-native environments
Proven experience with DevOps pipelines and managing cloud infrastructure
Experience with big data queries, data warehousing, and data-heavy domains would be highly beneficial
Previous experience leading engineering teams, ownership of team deliverables, coaching, feedback, and team development
Well-developed people management skills
