Your focus will be delivering high-quality solutions that address complex challenges related to our portfolio of cloud platforms and applications.

We're looking for a motivated technical expert to lead one or potentially two squads focused on specific products.

We're building a vertical SaaS platform for animal health that requires significant technical expertise to deliver.

Solutions for practice management (PIMS), diagnostics, payments, client engagement, analytics & insight plus many more.

  • What your day might look like :
  • Create technical design documentation
  • Build large-scale or complex projects that are fit for purpose and achieve the desired result
  • Build code that is well-crafted, highly scalable, and maintainable
  • Monitor, evaluate, and improve projects as they are released (agile)
  • Write well-designed unit tests
  • Provide senior code reviews to ensure code that is released is robust and reliable
  • Refactor low-level framework objects to improve the performance and scalability of our platforms
  • Contribute to high-level tech stack discussions and help drive our applications forward
  • Serve as a mentor and guide for junior and intermediate engineers
  • Lead collaboration with cross-functional teams to better understand the broader aspects of our portfolio and collectively solve the challenges of scal
  • What you need to succeed :
  • Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer
  • Proven technical capability with software design
  • Experience leading technical advancements to solve problems
  • Experience with principles and practices related to cloud technologies
  • Previous experience in a SaaS environment
  • Experience with any : PHP / Laravel, GoLang, Typescript, MySQL, AWS (or C / C++, C#, Java, other OOP languages depending on ability), Node.js, React.js, React Native Web, other cloud architectures
  • Experience with unit testing
  • Strong OO design patterns and modular design
  • Experience building and consuming APIs (JSON, SOAP)
  • Preferred experience in people leadership
