We are seeking 5 caring and professional Health Care Assistants to join our team in a well-established rest home providing high-quality residential aged care services. The role involves delivering compassionate, person-centred support to residents in partnership with nurses and other healthcare staff.

Location of Work : Auckland

Number of Vacancies : 5

Type of employment : full time, guaranteed minimum 30 hours per week

Days required : shifting between Monday to Sunday

Pay : $27 - $31 per hour based on qualification and experience

Your duties will include :

• Provide daily personal care to residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and continence care.
• Assist residents with safe mobility, transfers, and use of mobility aids.
• Support residents with eating, drinking, and medication reminders under supervision.
• Make beds, tidy resident rooms, and maintain a clean, safe environment in accordance with infection-control standards.
• Observe, document, and promptly report changes in resident health or behaviour to the Registered Nurse or Supervisor.
• Offer companionship, encouragement, and emotional support to promote residents’ dignity and well-being.
• Follow individual care plans, rest-home policies, and Health & Safety requirements at all times.
