About the Role
As a Senior Analyst, you will play a key role in shaping the future of health by providing high-quality analytics, insights, and advice to support commissioning and planning decisions across Health New Zealand. Working collaboratively with national, regional, and locality teams, you will analyse and interpret complex data to inform service design, investment planning, and performance monitoring. Your work will help ensure health insights and funding decisions are equitable, efficient, and aligned with the Pae Ora vision of better health for all.
As a Senior Analyst, you will be part of a team of specialists responsible for designing and developing modelling solutions in collaboration with both national and regional teams. Our work directly contributes to improving the quality of decision-making and investment choices across the health sector. You are a skilled analyst with strong technical expertise and a passion for improving health outcomes through data. You bring a mix of analytical capability, curiosity, and the ability to communicate complex insights clearly and meaningfully to a range of stakeholders. You are collaborative, outcome-focused, and confident working across a large and dynamic organisation.
You will bring :
Desirable experience includes mentoring junior analysts, developing analytical tools, and contributing to system-level planning or performance frameworks within the health or public sector.
