St Michael's Catholic School in Remuera is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled primary music teacher to join our team.

This is a part-time, fixed-term position for the 2026 school year, for two days per week.

The role :

You will be responsible for providing engaging and dynamic music education to students from Y1 to Y6.

Key duties include :

Planning and delivering a comprehensive music program.

Teaching a wide variety of musical concepts and skills.

Preparing and reporting on student progress twice a year.

Upholding and nurturing the Catholic character of our school community.

The ideal candidate :

We are looking for a passionate educator with proficiency across a range of musical instruments and a proven ability to inspire young learners.

Experience teaching music at the primary level is essential.
