If so, you might be the teacher we are looking for.
We are seeking a reflective, creative and enthusiastic teacher to join our Enrichment Team.
This role involves delivering music education and enrichment experiences across our whole school — for students of all ages and levels of engagement.
An understanding of our diverse student population is essential, and expertise in special education pedagogy — particularly in relation to music — would be an advantage.
Experience or interest in teaching dance and drama may also be beneficial.
This is an exciting opportunity for an adaptable and resourceful NZ certified teacher who seeks to make a positive difference in the lives our students and their whaanau.
The successful applicant will work across all of our school sites, supported by a multidisciplinary team including teachers, support staff, therapists and specialists.
About Hamilton North School
Hamilton North School is a specialist school for children and young people aged 5–21 who have additional and complex learning needs.
We follow the New Zealand Curriculum, which is carefully adapted and individualised to meet the specific learning needs of our students.
