Cook - Whangarei

Food makes such a difference to the residents’ lives, which is why Totara Gardens Care Home and Merrivale Care Home , located in Whangarei, is searching for a Cook / Chef to join the Kitchen team. We have a variety of opportunities, which includes :

• Casual Cook role - no guaranteed hours.
• We also have a fixed term contract Cook role, working full time hours, lasting until 30 Jan 2026.

There are opportunities to work as a Kitchen Manager on a Fixed-term basis as well, for those who have experience leading kitchen teams.

Hours & Roster Details for both Totara Gardens & Merivale Care Homes :

You will be working alongside equally passionate and creative colleagues to plan, implement and ensure that our residents' individual food and nutritional needs are met through delicious menu programmes. Come be part of a team who have chosen to enrich the lives of society’s most vulnerable.
