Job descriptionPrepare, season, and cook a variety of foods including fish & chips, burgers, fried items, and Chinese-style stir-fried dishes and noodles Ensure all food is prepared according to the shop’s recipes, portion standards, and quality requirements Operate and monitor kitchen equipment such as deep fryers, woks, grills, and food warmers Prepare ingredients, sauces, batters, and marinades before service Maintain stock levels by checking and storing food supplies, rotating stock, and minimising wastage Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are consistently met, including cleaning benches, equipment, and food preparation areas Plan and organise workflow to ensure timely production during busy periods Assist in training new staff in basic food preparation and safe kitchen practices Monitor food quality and presentation before serving Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and compliance with health and safety regulations At least two years cooking experience Ability to cook both deep-fried items and Chinese-style stir-fries Hard-working, reliable, and able to work under pressure Able to work evenings and weekends as required Good communication and teamwork skills

Our menu includes fresh fish & chips, burgers, and a range of Chinese-style stir-fried dishes and noodles .
What we offer
- 30–50 hours per week
- $28.00 – $30.00 per hour , depending on experience
