Key Requirements

Minimum 1 year of work experience.OR

Level 2 or higher qualification.

Key Responsibilities

Operate and maintain forestry tools, chainsaws, and equipment.

Assist with pest and weed control to protect forest health.

Carry out site preparation and post-harvest clean-up activities.

Identify and report signs of disease, pest infestation, or environmental hazards.

Load and transport logs and forestry materials using appropriate machinery.

Maintain accurate records of daily tasks, site conditions, and productivity.

Follow environmental and safety protocols, including use of PPE.

Support erosion control and land rehabilitation efforts.

Participate in fire prevention and emergency response drills.

Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet project goals.

Attend training sessions to improve skills and ensure compliance with industry standards.
