Site Manager

Overview

Site Manager role at Synlait Milk Limited, Mangere, Blending and Canning site. This role is pivotal in ensuring quality, operational stability, driving performance across all site functions, and leading through change in a fast-paced environment. You will have full financial, operational and performance accountability for the site, overseeing manufacturing, quality, maintenance, warehousing, dispatch, purchasing, staff and safety for all products and assets on site. With strong analytical and financial acumen, you balance hands-on leadership with strategic decision-making to deliver exceptional results.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a safe and quality-focused foundation for site operations.
• Drive efficiencies and build a culture of operational excellence while meeting yield, cost, and quality targets.
• Provide clear direction and leadership to develop a high-performing and engaged team.
• Deliver against the Site Master Plan and align with Synlait’s Strategic Objectives.
• Ensure physical resources and assets are fit-for-purpose and maintained to high standards.
• Lead the site through change, fostering a culture of continuous improvement using Integrated Work Systems (IWS).
• Manage all aspects of manufacturing operations, from raw material arrival to warehousing and dispatch.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers and industry networks.
