What You Will Be Working On
You will be responsible for all technical and AV aspects of event delivery at our Auckland venue, including :
Responding to onsite enquiries about hardware, software, and network issues.
Planning and coordinating events, including technical setups, equipment requirements, and the installation / downloading of appropriate software.
Overseeing multi-site projects and coordinating with other venue technical staff.
Supervising events with virtual connections, video, and phone conferencing.
Assisting with recruitment, onboarding, and training of casual technical staff.
What Type of Person Will Be Successful
A diploma or degree in computer science, IT or equivalent.
At least 3 years' on-the-job technical experience.
Experience in coordinating multi-premise video-conferencing solutions.
Strong networking knowledge (TCP / IP, DHCP) and Windows operating systems.
Strong organisational and time-management skills.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical terms clearly.
