AttractPay is New Zealand ’ s Alibaba-authorised payment acquirer, providing secure and scalable cross-border payment solutions for local businesses.
We support Alipay, WeChat Pay, and UnionPay, powering transactions for 330+ merchants, including leading retailers inside Auckland International Airport.
As we expand our technology capability, we are looking for an experienced Programmer / Developer to strengthen our payment platform, integrations, and backend systems.
- Implement project management processes : Apply workflow standards, methodologies, and effective utilisation of ICT tools and systems.
- Contribute to ICT strategy development : Support the creation of ICT strategies, technical standards, and long-term technology roadmaps.
- Provide technology selection and planning input : Participate in feasibility assessments, solution evaluations, and strategic ICT planning.
- Direct systems implementation and maintenance : Lead the selection, configuration, installation, integration, and maintenance of ICT hardware, software, and cloud environments.
- Manage system integration activities : Ensure system interoperability, compatibility, and successful integration with existing infrastructure.
- Optimise system performance : Oversee performance monitoring, upgrades, capacity planning, and lifecycle management.
- Ensure security and compliance standards : Ensure all systems and deliverables meet internal security requirements and industry best-practice standards.
- Conduct cybersecurity assessments : Perform security reviews, vulnerability assessments, and apply cybersecurity controls.
- Ensure project quality and reliability : Verify that project outputs meet regulatory, operational, performance, and reliability requirements.
- Engage with stakeholders : Work with internal stakeholders, partners, and clients to gather requirements and define project scope.
- Coordinate communications and reporting : Manage stakeholder communication, reporting, and expectation setting across the project lifecycle.
- Deliver training and change support : Provide user training, onboarding sessions, and change-management support for deployed systems.
- Manage vendor and partner relationships : Oversee vendor performance, manage contracts, and ensure timely delivery of service obligations.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Experience
More than five years of progressively responsible ICT project management experience, preferably within financial services or other regulated environments. Experience with IoT-based systems and solutions will be viewed favourably.
Technical Knowledge
Strong understanding of Agile and formal project management methodologies.Experience in software development with knowledge of programming, database design, systems integration, and ICT infrastructure.Working knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, secure system implementation, and technology risk management.Understanding of technology systems, payments infrastructure, compliance obligations, secure data handling and IoT.
