- Lead and mentor the Marketing Specialist focusing on engagement and GSF values
- Set clear KPIs and conduct regular review meetings
- Work successfully and collaboratively as part of the wider Groenz and GSF Fresh senior leadership team.
- Build strong relationships with all departments across GSF Fresh & GroenzMarketing Strategy and Brand Management
- Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with business goals.
- Review, refine, and execute the brand strategy to ensure consistency and market relevance.
- Oversee packaging, product positioning, and brand messaging.
- Ensure brand integrity across all communication channels.
- Define and develop a market research program to support strategy and product developmentDigital Marketing and Content Creation
- Manage and optimize the company's websites, ensuring up-to-date and engaging content.
- Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, social media, and email marketing.
- Monitor website analytics and adjust strategies to improve engagement and conversion rates.
- Collaborate on the creation of marketing and advertising materials.
- Manage and develop GSF brands to increase business profitability

- Own the overall NPD process
- Collaborate with R&D and production teams to identify and launch new product opportunities.
- Create and manage a new product pipeline setting clear priorities, timelines and go / no-go decision-making criteria.
- Develop go-to-market strategies for new products, including launch campaigns and promotional activities.
- Manage the product deletion process to ensure no unnecessary range proliferation and to achieve optimum profitability and factory efficiency.
- Conduct ongoing market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats.
- Gather and analyze customer insights to inform marketing and product development strategies.
- Keep up with industry trends and ensure marketing efforts align with end user preferencesTrade Shows
- Plan, coordinate, and execute participation in industry trade shows and promotional events.
- Develop event marketing strategies to maximize brand visibility and lead generation.
- Ensure high-quality presentation and brand consistency at all events.
- Maximise the ROI through strategic selection of events / shows and creative and targeted use of products.Qualifications, Experience and Skills
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing
- A minimum of three to five years in a senior Marketing role preferably in FMCG and / or Foodservice
- Digital Marketing and Communications experience
- Experience leading diverse teams
- Experience in successfully creating and managing email and social media marketing campaigns
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Able to work cross functionally and bring people together with a shared vision
- Strong research and analytical skills including Google analytics, Adwords and other relevant sites
- Excellent content planner, creator and editor across all digital mediums including blogs, forums, videos and graphics
- Thinks creatively and innovatively
- Able to prioritise own workload and work to deadlines
- Skilled in budget management and ROI reporting
- Proven ability to direct and manage third party suppliers
