Content Specialist – Entertainment (Start Asap)

Support Sky's entertainment content programming by curating and scheduling content across multiple platforms, collaborating with cross-functional teams.Your RoleHere's what you will be doing : Own programming schedules for allocated Sky-built entertainment channels across multiple platforms.Evaluate and recommend content using performance data, audience insights, and editorial judgement.Identify standout content opportunities across distributors, formats, and genres.Maintain a deep understanding of Sky's entertainment audiences and platform behaviours.Ensure content selections align with the editorial identity and audience expectations of each service.Monitor trends and viewership patterns to refine programming over time.Support execution of the entertainment content strategy through scheduling, documentation, and rollout.Collaborate with Content Leads, Planning, Marketing, Product, and Technology to align programming efforts.Contribute to distributor engagement by preparing editorial feedback and supporting the Rolling Forecast file.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the Sky catalogue, upcoming releases, and distributor pipelines.Contribute to the Master Content Plan with content priorities and channel-specific insights.Support curation and presentation of content across platforms, including editorial input into featured collections.About YouThe company is looking for : Passion for content, audiences, and entertainment culture.Demonstrated understanding of media platforms, digital products, and content formats.Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple workstreams in an agile environment.Confident working collaboratively across teams and functions.Fast learner with basic budgeting or forecasting awareness.Excellent communication and organisational skills.Legal right to work in New Zealand as defined by Immigration NZ.Preferred : Experience in media, broadcasting, streaming, or content programming environments.Preferred : Exposure to content strategy, planning cycles, or acquisition support.Preferred : Familiarity with audience segmentation, viewing trends, or performance reporting tools.Compensation & BenefitsFree Sky, Sky Sport Now, and Neon subscriptions.Discounted Southern Cross health insurance.Discounted YMCA gym memberships.Free onsite parking at Mt Wellington and Albany offices.Training & DevelopmentSupport for growth with exciting career development opportunities.How to ApplyIf this opportunity excites you and you want to join Sky in sharing stories, possibilities, and joy, apply online today.
