Catering Assistant / Barista - Palmerston North

35 to 40 hours per week (available shifts between 7 : 30am - 5 : 00pm) Monday to Friday.

Cater Plus is on the hunt for a passionate café assistant with outstanding customer service to join our dedicated team at Coffee Infusion café based at Palmerston North Hospital on an as and when required basis to cover staff leave and busy times.

If you are energetic and engaging and thrive in a fast-paced team environment, we need you to help us deliver the best food service experience in the industry to our vibrant and diverse clientele.

To be successful in this role you will be warm and engaging with a can-do attitude and friendly nature.

You will join a team dedicated to preparing and serving outstanding café style food and coffee for our customers and keep them coming back for more.

Responsibilities

serve beautifully crafted café style food and coffee to customers (barista experience an advantage)

operate Eftpos and POS machine with a smile

help to keep the kitchen and cafe clean, and do dishes

work hard as a reliable and loyal team player who can stay cool under pressure

utilise great communication skills and a can-do attitude

enjoy working with customers and keep them coming back for more
