It is expected the holder of this role will be privy to classified information from time to time and understands the New Zealand government’s classification system and how to maintain information in line with current policies and requirements.
You will demonstrate knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an understanding of Te Ao Māori and promote tikanga and Te Reo Māori. You will also have knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an appreciation of te Tiriti o Waitangi (the Treaty of Waitangi) as it applies in the public sector.

The Regulatory Performance, Risk and Insights function ensures NZTA and the Director of Land Transport have a clear, evidence-based view of the land transport regulatory system’s performance, risks, and outcomes. The System Risk, Evidence and Insights team develops and integrates risk and evidence capabilities to support timely, targeted regulatory decisions aligned with strategic priorities.
