Materials Planner - Wiri

Reporting to the Category Planner -Salty, this full time, permanent role is based at our iconic Wiri manufacturing plant.

We are seeking an experienced Material Planner. This position plays a pivotal role in leveraging the strategic partnership with suppliers to ensure procurement requirements are met within requirements of quality, delivery and cost. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including production, procurement, and logistics, external suppliers to execute the materials plan and achieve shared goals.

Responsibilities

• Review purchase requisitions against the master production schedule and inventory records in SAP.
• Evaluate the accuracy of item master records – monthly master data reviews.
• Ensure inventory goals and objectives are met and effectively manage surplus and obsolete inventories.
• Ensure uninterrupted flow of material to support manufacturing and customer service.
• Support with NPD projects – manage all requirements to make projects successful.
• Manage lead times and resolve any supply chain disruptions swiftly.
• Support teammates and contribute to the overall success of the materials planning function.
