Overview
The Research Programme Coordinator will primarily be supporting our researchers within the faculty with effective research project coordination, navigation of research support services and operational pre- and post-award support. We are seeking a highly organized and proactive individual to support the coordination and administration of our research programs. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with faculty members, researchers, and administrative staff to facilitate the success of our research initiatives.
Responsibilities
This is a fulltime (37.5 hours per week) permanent position.
Remuneration : $58,300 - $72,700 per annum dependent on experience.
About the team
The Faculty is made up of 10 schools / departments and has a number of cross-disciplinary research themes to stimulate new thinking and collaboration, facilitating a lift in the quality of our research and the ability to attract new research funding. The 16 Research Programme Coordinators in the team play an important role in supporting science researchers to obtain research funding and subsequently support various post-award processes on research projects. Working alongside our 6 Research Programme Managers you will have valuable opportunities to learn new skills in a collaborative and supportive team environment.
About you
Our ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification and have experience supporting academic or research staff. You will also have previous experience with project administration or coordination and navigating complex administrative systems.
