We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Lead Content Writer to join our growing marketing team.
This isn't just a writing role; we're looking for a visionary who deeply understands our audience, can craft compelling narratives, and consistently deliver content that drives measurable business results.
If you're a research-driven individual who thrives on creating content that resonates with both humans and algorithms, we want to hear from you.As our Lead Content Writer, you will be responsible for : Audience-Driven Content Development : Spearhead the creation of high-quality, engaging, and insightful blog posts, articles, website copy, and other written content that aligns with our brand voice and marketing objectives.
Your content will be designed to attract, educate, and convert our target audience, driving engagement and fostering customer loyalty.
Strategic Content Planning : Collaborate closely with the marketing team to develop comprehensive content strategies that directly support our business goals (e.g., lead generation, brand awareness, thought leadership).
This includes identifying key topics, understanding audience pain points, and mapping content to different stages of the customer journey.
Content Pipeline & Project Leadership : You will own our content production, driving the entire content pipeline.
This includes managing our content calendar, overseeing the production and timely implementation of content pieces, whether written by you or external writers.
You\'ll also be responsible for managing magazine ads and ensuring their content is ready and delivered on schedule.
Your exceptional planning and organizational talents will be key to success in this area.
Audience Resonance Expert : Proactively research and analyse our target audience's needs, preferences, and online behaviour to ensure all content produced not only addresses their queries but genuinely resonates with their interests and challenges.
You\'ll be adept at identifying the 'why' behind their searches and crafting content that provides true value.
SEO and LLM Writing : You\'ll also strategically structure and format content to be easily digestible and understandable by large language models (LLMs), ensuring our content performs well in evolving search landscapes and AI-powered information retrieval.
Research & Data-Driven Content : Serve as our in-house researcher, gathering data, statistics, expert opinions, and industry insights to support content claims and provide authoritative, credible information.
You\'ll be skilled at synthesising complex information into clear, concise, and compelling narratives.
Performance Monitoring & Optimisation : Track and analyse content performance metrics (e.g., traffic, engagement, conversions) and use these insights to continuously refine our content strategy and optimise future content for better results.
Brand Voice & Consistency : Act as a guardian of our brand voice, ensuring all written content maintains a consistent tone, style, and messaging across all platforms.
Collaboration & Communication : Work effectively with cross-functional teams, including product management, sales, and information technology, to ensure content aligns with overall business objectives and campaigns.What we need from you 3 - 5 years proven experience as a content writer, content strategist, or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse content types and measurable results.
Demonstrated understanding of the audience and the ability to craft content that genuinely connects with target readers on an emotional and intellectual level.
Exceptional research skills with a meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and credibility.
Ability to translate complex ideas into clear, concise, and engaging language for a variety of audiences.
Knowledge of SEO best practices and understanding of how to optimise content for search engines without compromising readability or quality.
Experience with SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush) would be a plus.
LLM enthusiast with demonstrated workflow integration and an understanding of how to structure content to be easily processed and leveraged by AI-powered systems.
Superior writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for grammar, punctuation, and style.
Strong project management and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
A data-driven mindset with the ability to analyse content performance and make data-informed decisions.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
