This position will join the existing trades team on either day or night shift, to help ensure that plant assets are managed and maintained to minimize processing downtime and support the company's objectives.

We require someone with a positive, can-do attitude and excellent teamwork skills.You should be able to demonstrate the following key requirements : Be a strong team player with excellent communication skillsProactively ensure minimal downtime for production departments due to maintenance issuesStrong organizational skills to manage various prioritiesEffective problem-solving skillsRelevant engineering qualifications and / or experience in a manufacturing environmentQualificationsApplicants must have : A Trade certificate in engineering / maintenance or at least three years of relevant experience as a substituteWelding skills in Tig, Mig, MMAWKnowledge of hydraulics and pneumaticsExperience working with automated plant and equipmentExperience in a food processing environment is advantageousA proactive approach to routine tasks and strong organizational skillsA strong commitment to health and safety standardsA desire to succeedWorking 45-55 hours per week depending on experience, with an hourly rate between $35-$40.Additional InformationWe will provide training, so previous experience is not mandatory.
