Sales Consultant - Trucks & Machinery

Overview

We currently have an opportunity for a motivated Sales Consultant to join our awesome team based in Christchurch Trucks & Machinery branch.

Turners Group NZ Ltd is part of the Turners Automotive Group and we\'re very proud to have been helping Kiwi\'s buy and sell used vehicles for over 50 years and titled New Zealand\'s largest seller of Trucks & Machinery.

Who would suit this role?

This role is perfect for someone eager to get their foot in the door of the Trucks & Machinery industry.

We're looking for a hardworking, detail-oriented team player who's not afraid to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in.

This is an all-rounder hands on position where you'll take the lead on the on site sales and assist with site operations, so flexibility and a can-do attitude are key!

What does the role entail?

Assisting with the write up and cataloguing of general goods in the insolvency / liquidation space

Grooming and decaling of trucks and machinery

General yard maintenance and house keeping

Photographing and assessment of trucks and machinery

Assisting with the presentation and sale of vehicles and commercial goods

Assisting with the control and monitoring of all stock on site including the security, display and On Site sales processing

Potential for domestic travel

What do we need from you?

Full or Restricted Licence

Ideally Class 5 licence

Must have a forklift licence

Mechanical Aptitude

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Customer focused and ability to relate to people of all backgrounds

Legal right to work in NZ as defined by NZ immigration
