As a Nurse Prescriber in General Practice, you will play a key role in enhancing community health and equity.

This role offers the opportunity to use your advanced clinical expertise, prescribing authority, and leadership skills to improve patient outcomes.

You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team and have the support of dedicated medical centre leadership.

This role will also be responsible for running their own clinics with the support of the General Practitioners.

The vacancy is for 40 hours, and there is flexibility for job share.

What We Are Looking For

Registered Nurse with a current NZ practicing certificateNurse Prescriber qualificationExperience in the primary health care sectorCurrent vaccinator certificateProficiency in any PMS is preferred (we will provide training)Certification as a cervical smear taker (preferred)Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse individualsA commitment to cultural awareness and the principles of the Treaty of WaitangiDedication to patient health and proactive condition management
