Assistant Accountant

We are looking for an Assistant Accountant that can hit the ground running.

This role is based in our Feilding clinic working closely with our Finance Manager in ensuring the smooth operation of our finance and payroll functions.

As a senior person reporting to the Finance Manager you will play a key role within our finance team.

Key responsibilities will include :

Payroll – IMS payroll

Assisting with month end accounting duties

Daily cashflow reports, receipting and bank reconciliations.

Assisting with budgeting and forecasting.

Manage accruals and pre-payments.

Fixed asset management.

Assist with year-end accounts and statutory accounts.

The role will ideally suit an individual with 3-5 years' experience who enjoys a high level of responsibility and is a team player.

Payroll experience essential.

Skilled in using Excel.

Good reconciliation skills.

High attention to detail and accuracy.

Highly organised, ability to prioritise.

A good knowledge of and experience using enterprise finance systems.

Sound problem solving with a drive to get to the heart of the problem.

A passion for building rapport and relationships across multiple stakeholders.
