One busy Japanese restaurant is looking for one Cook to join.
You'll be responsible for :
l Examine foodstuffs to ensure quality and freshness before preparation.
l Regulate the temperatures of ovens, grills, deep fryers, and other cooking equipment to ensure optimal cooking conditions.
l Prepare and cook a variety of Japanese hot dishes, including but not limited to tempura, teriyaki, donburi, ramen, and shabu shabu ect.
l Season food appropriately during the cooking process to enhance flavors while maintaining authenticity in Japanese cuisine.
l Portion food accurately, plate dishes according to restaurant standards, and garnish with sauces and condiments for optimal presentation.
l Store food in temperature-controlled facilities, ensuring proper labeling and rotation to minimize waste and maintain freshness.
l Prepare food to meet special dietary requirements as requested by customers.
l Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
About You
l Minimum 5 years relevant work experience in fast-paced, high-quality commercial kitchen environment.
l Strong knowledge of Japanese ingredients and fish fabrication techniques
l Ensure quality food preparation and presentation.
l Ability to work both fast and accurately
l Availability to work during business hours, including weekends and evenings
l Flexibility to take on various shifts
