Accounts Payable Executive, Japanese-speaking (Leading MedTech MNC!)Our client is a leading Medical Technology MNC.Responsibilities : AP Management : Handle Accounts Payable, prepare payments, and maintain cashflow forecasts to ensure sufficient funds before making payments.Employee Claims : Manage employee claims, ensuring efficient processing and timely resolution.Intercompany Transactions : Handle Intercompany transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.General Ledger (GL) Schedules : Prepare GL schedules accurately and in compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), local Financial Reporting Standards (FRS), and Japanese accounting standards.Month-end Close and Reporting : Collaborate closely with the Regional Accountants to complete month-end close and reporting tasks in a timely manner.Compliance and Accuracy : Ensure transactions' accuracy in accordance with IFRS, local FRS, Japanese accounting standards, and compliance with internal policies.Other APAC region AP & other function support as assigned : Handle Accounts Payable and other function in other APAC regions, as required, and provide support to regional teams in maintaining accurate financial records.Communication : Effectively communicate with Japanese vendors, regional teams, and other stakeholders in both English and Japanese.Requirements : Degree / ACCA / Diploma in Accountancy related qualificationsProficient in SAPAt least 2-3 years AP regional accounting experience (handling local & overseas subsidiaries) preferably in corporate MNCsAble to speak and write in fluent Japanese (preferably JLPT N2 & above) as there is a need to work with Japanese speaking vendors, counterparts and stakeholdersAble to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.Meticulous in handling financial data and capable of performing well under minimal supervisionOther Information : Working Days / Hours : Mon – Fri, 830am to 530pmLocation : Near One North MRT6 months renewable contract (depending on performance / business needs)To apply please click on the QUICK APPLY button with the following details inside your resume for faster processing : Reason for leavingLast drawn SalaryEarliest availability dateWe regret only shortlisted candidates will be notified.By submitting any application or résumé to us, you will be deemed to have agreed and consented to us collecting, using, retaining and disclosing your personal information to prospective employers for their consideration.Be careful - Don't provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.
