We are seeking four experienced Chefs to join our dynamic team in Auckland CBD.
The ideal candidates will possess a strong background in kitchen operations, excellent culinary skills, and proven experience in managing food preparation within a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Plan and estimate the ingredients in menu items to high standards of taste and presentation
- Create, develop, and adjust menus and recipes in collaboration with other Chefs and head Chef
- Prepare and cook dishes.
- Ensure all dishes are prepared in accordance with portion, quality, and presentation standards before being served
- Maintain hygiene and food safety standards in compliance with health regulations
- Supervise kitchen staff to ensure consistent performance
- Monitor stock levels, control waste, and support cost-effective kitchen management
- Coordinate with front-of-house staff and manager to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen at all times
- Report maintenance issues and support continuous improvement of kitchen systems
Requirements :
Minimum of 3 years' proven experience as a Chef in a commercial kitchenStrong time management and multitasking abilitiesExcellent knowledge of food safety and hygiene practicesAbility to work effectively under pressure and meet service deadlinesExcellent teamwork and communication skillsFlexibility to work rostered shifts, weekends, and public holidaysMust be legally entitled to work in New ZealandWhat's on offer
