Contract Finance Manager

We're looking for an experienced Finance Manager to step into a 3-4 month contract role with one of New Zealand's leading media organisations.

This is a hands-on opportunity to lead a capable finance team through a busy period, while the role is being scoped for permanent recruitment.

Focus on managing financial reporting, compliance, tax, cashflow etc, while keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.

What you'll be doing

Lead Financial and Revenue Accounting, ensuring accurate statutory and management reporting, smooth month-end and half-year close.

Responsible for direct taxation, cashflow and GL integrity, while supporting the finance leaders with technical accounting and project work.

What you'll bring

Qualified accountant (CA or equivalent) with 5+ years of financial management experience – ideally within a large or complex organisation.

Technically sharp, calm under pressure, hands-on, confident navigating IFRS requirements and audit processes.
