About the Role
We are seeking a capable, community-minded Manager to lead the daily operations of DCS.
This is a hands-on role that combines people leadership, operational management, strategic planning, and community engagement.
Reporting to the Board, you'll provide supportive and forward-thinking leadership to staff, ensuring services run smoothly, finances are well managed, and DCS's values of inclusion, respect, and empowerment are upheld.
You'll also play a key role in identifying opportunities for improvement, innovation, and growth while empowering your team to achieve shared goals.
Key Responsibilities
Lead with vision and integrity, fostering teamwork, accountability, innovation, well-being, and a positive workplace culture.
Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and safety.
Monitor budgets, financial performance, cost control, and funding compliance (with support from finance staff and the Board).
Build strong relationships with service users, whanau, funders, business enterprise partners, industry partners, and community organisations.
Support staff development and ensure programmes meet the needs and aspirations of service users.
Oversee facilities, vehicles, and health and safety requirements.
Prepare clear, accurate reports for the Board and funding partners.
