Our Foodstuffs Merchandise team works with supplier partners and store teams on category ranging, buying, pricing and promotions so we can get the right products on the right shelves at the right time for our customers.
Te Tūranga – About the role
We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented team member to join our Merchandise Operations team. In this role, you’ll be the primary contact for supporting and resolving incidents related to Promotions, Pricing, and Ticketing across our Stores and Support Centre.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring promotional accuracy and integrity for our customers, while driving continuous improvement in our systems and processes.
Key responsibilities are varied! You will :
- Analyse and evaluate current systems and structures related to pricing, promotions, and ticketing to ensure alignment with business goals.
- Develop and maintain procedure manuals and documentation to support store price integrity processes.
- Assist in shaping promotional strategies that enhance customer satisfaction and optimise resource use.
- Troubleshoot technical and data issues, escalating appropriately and driving effective resolutions.
- Respond to time-sensitive incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions with preventative analysis.
- Collaborate with Store and Support Centre stakeholders, offering customer-centric and technically sound solutions.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on promotional issues, providing guidance and leadership.
- Conduct work studies to identify opportunities for process improvement in administrative and clerical functions.
- Provide training to new team members on pricing and promotional processes.
- Participate in testing SAP system changes to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Support implementation of approved changes and document updated procedures.
- Lead weekly mailer proofing to ensure promotional accuracy.
- Recommend proposals to refine workflows and improve team performance and business efficiency.

You’ll also have :
