Overview

Wellington Girls' College has an opening for a part time science teacher covering for staff members undertaking alternative duties.

This is a fixed-term 12 hour per week position starting on January 28, 2026 and concluding on January 27, 2027.

Overseas applicants must hold a NZ teacher registration and all overseas qualifications need to be assessed by NZQA.

The terms and conditions, including base salary, for this position are set by the relevant collective agreement.

The base salary for trained and registered teachers will range from $61,000 to $103,000, depending on applicant's qualifications and experience.

The individual\'s actual base salary will be established by a salary assessment once a role is confirmed.
