Job Summary

Massage Therapists perform therapeutic massage techniques to enhance physical health and promote relaxation and well-being in clients.

Key Responsibilities

Assessing clients' physical conditions and identifying areas of discomfort or tension.

Using a range of massage techniques such as Swedish massage, deep tissuemassage, and sports massage to treat clients.

Applying pressure with hands, fingers, or specialized equipment to manipulate musclesand tissues.

Advising clients on posture, exercise, and relaxation techniques to improve overallhealth.

Maintaining detailed records of treatments provided to clients.

Referring clients to other health care professionals, if necessary.

Ensuring a clean and hygienic work environment, including sterilization of tools andequipment.

Following safety and health guidelines to prevent injuries and infections.

Job requirement : applicant must meet following requirement to apply for this job

Relevant NZQF Diploma;OR

At least two years of working experience in relevant industry

Strong knowledge of physiology.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to customize treatments based on individual client needs.

Good organizational and time management skills.
