About the Role – Korero mo te Turanga
As an Adviser Certification Operations within the Certification team you will provide certification of New Zealand food products for export, and issuance of consignment specific documentation to exporters.
You will also provide frontline operational support for reception, certificate dispatch, and manual handling for orders to be sent nationwide to facilitate export.
This is an exciting opportunity to support New Zealand food producers to export products.
Core functions of the role include :
This work supports several different industries with variable seasonal peaks across the year so flexibility will be required.
Rotating rostered shifts will be between Monday – Sunday, 7am to 9pm.
You will be working with multiple stakeholders internally and externally and is a great opportunity for someone who prides themselves on attention to detail, and their ability to function to deadlines.
This role also requires maintenance of fitness and physical strength to dispatch orders of up to 20kg several times per day.

About the Team – Mo to matou Ropu
The Certification Team sits within the Verification Services directorate of New Zealand Food Safety.
This specialised team are responsible for providing official assurances for New Zealand products to be exported around the world.
In this position, you will work on site with a team of Certification Advisers at the Auckland MPI Centre.
This team prides itself in providing a collaborative and respectful environment where they work together across a variety of interesting work programmes.
