Role Overview

As a trusted partner keeping Auckland clean and green, we take pride in maintaining the region's parks, playgrounds, gardens, infrastructure, maunga and public spaces.

To support our mission, we're seeking a Facilities Operator to join our team to help make a real difference in our community with the addition of horticulture duties as operations demands it!

Responsibilities

Drive the tipper truck to collect roadside rubbish on the maunga (bin run).

Assist with illegal dumping response, hard surface cleaning, and facilities cleaning (public bathrooms and amenities).

Work Schedule

This is a full-time position.

Availability will increase with operational demand.

The role involves early starts followed by early finishes.

The shift pattern is Tuesday through to Saturday.

What We're Looking For

Reliability and Dependability : Punctual, responsible, and consistent in work performance.

Full Driver's Licence with Manual Driving Capability : Essential for driving the tipper truck and manual work vehicles.

Physical Fitness and Stamina : Able to perform hands-on tasks including rubbish collection and manual labour.

Flexibility : Comfortable with early starts and varied schedules.

Commitment to Health and Safety : Understands and follows safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
