Job descriptionLevel 4 or higher qualification Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification (in any field) can be considered relevant to this employment. Supervise orchard workers performing kiwifruit canopy maintenance and crop care tasks. Allocate daily tasks and monitor productivity and quality of work. Train and guide staff in safe and effective horticultural practices. Monitor plant health and report any issues to management. Operate and maintain horticultural tools and equipment safely. Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and orchard protocols. Maintain accurate records of work completed and staff performance. Support seasonal operations including pruning, thinning, and harvesting. Communicate with management regarding labour needs and orchard progress. Promote a safe, respectful, and productive work environment. Assist with orchard development and infrastructure maintenance. Uphold company standards and contribute to continuous improvement.
Position Available : Horticulture Leading Hand
Number of Positions Available : 4
Location : Auckland Region
Pay Rate : $32 to $38 per hour
Hours of Work : 30 – 40 hours per week
