About the opportunity
We are looking for two engineers to join our team with two new roles in both Hardware and Firmware.
These are hands-on, technically challenging roles where you'll leverage your specialised skills to work through multiple, simultaneous, complex and unique product design and development situations, while contributing to cutting-edge R&D projects, and coach the next generation of engineers.
As a Hardware Engineer, you'll use your expertise to handle complex product design and development, support advanced R&D projects, and oversee the entire product lifecycle.
From concept to delivery.
You'll focus on design quality, compliance, and delivering reliable, cost-effective hardware systems.
As a Firmware Engineer, you'll lead complex projects at the intersection of firmware, power electronics, and off-highway charging solutions, collaborating closely across disciplines and guiding design from concept to launch.
You'll help build smart, efficient, and robust charging systems for world-class products.
About you
You're curious, collaborative, and excited by the challenge of solving real-world problems through technology.
You thrive in a hands-on environment, enjoy working across disciplines, and bring a systems-level mindset to your work.
Your strengths may lie in hardware, firmware, or a blend :
4+ years proven experience in hardware and / or embedded firmware development across full development product lifecycles
A Power electronics background, including experience with Buck-Boost, Flyback, SEPIC / Cuk, DAB and LLC.
Deep understanding of SMPS topologies, PCB layout for power, and EMI / EMC design
Solid experience with C programming and embedded systems (FreeRTOS, real-time control, etc.) and digital control systems
Proficiency with Altium and Simulation tool experience (LtSpice, Tina, QSpice), Mathcad (Maxima, Scilab, Python), thermal, magnetic, and electric field FEA and project management techniques.
Strong problem-solving, systems thinking, and debugging skills
Familiarity with testing tools (oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, power meters)
Experience in designing for manufacture, compliance, and maintainability
Strong commercial acumen and analytical problem-solving skills
A degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering (or equivalent training)
Whether your expertise lies in hardware, firmware, or a blend of both, you'll be part of a team that values collaboration, innovation, and the pursuit of practical, elegant engineering solutions.
