Guided by our three pou : Kia Maori, Kia Matau, Kia Tu Rangatira Ai, our kura has a strong reputation for academic achievement, cultural strength, and leadership development.In January 2026, Te Kapehu Whetu – Tamaki Makaurau will open its doors.

This Kura Hourua will welcome day and boarding students from Tai Tokerau and the wider Auckland area, offering high achievement across academics, sports, and pathways into tomorrow's industries.About the roleThe Pouako English & history will teach English / literacy and history, fostering critical thinking, communication skills, and historical understanding.
