English Teacher

OverviewTuakau College is located in the North Waikato, in the town of Tuakau.

We require a passionate, energetic teacher to teach in our English learning area, commencing at the start of 2026.Role and QualificationsThis outstanding classroom teacher will have good curriculum knowledge, strong classroom management skills and be passionate about helping students learn.

Experience with NCEA is an advantage.

This role will suit a teacher who is keen to learn and grow in a collaborative team environment.RequirementsFor overseas applicants you are required to have a three-year specialist degree at Level 7 with a one-year teacher training Level 7 qualification.New Zealand teacher registration with the NZ Teachers Council is an advantage.You must have at least 5 years' experience in the classroom.Your conditions of work and salary are based on the Secondary Teachers Collective Agreement .

The salary range is from $70,779 ($34.02 / hr) to $103,086 ($49.56 / hr).
