FNHL manages a diverse and expanding property portfolio that includes industrial, office, retail and residential properties, as well as infrastructure assets such as marinas and airports in the Far North.
Their strategic portfolio aims to stimulate economic growth and long-term prosperity for the region.
As such FNHL are looking for an experienced Property Asset Manager to join their small, highly experienced team in the Bay of Islands.
The property team collaborates closely with the operational teams at the various sites plus the property development team.
The Role
As the Property Asset Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the value of a portfolio of commercial property assets.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong tenant relationships to ensure satisfaction and retention
Manage lease agreements, renewals, rent reviews, and negotiations
Oversee maintenance and repairs to maintain compliance and standards
Manage OPEX and CAPEX budgets to optimise financial performance
Monitor rent, expenses, and reports to identify efficiencies
Support the GM of Property with strategic portfolio initiatives
About you
A Property degree while not essential is preferred
3+ years' experience in commercial property management or a related field
Strong business and financial acumen, with excellent influencing and negotiation skills
Attention to detail with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
An ability to work well within a small team environment
